Laurel Degutis is constantly pursuing ways to creatively and effectively communicate and share stories. She focuses on exploring personal situations (biographical and invented) to relay "universal" themes and build a culture of empathy. While often dealing with serious emotions and the sentiment of uncertainty, it is rare Laurel broaches any topic without a sense of humor.
